Dr.Capture supports video capture wizard.
If you start recording by clicking the one of buttons of Dr.Capture window, the Wizard window asking the recording options is displayed.
If you start recording by pressing the one of hot keys, recording starts immediately without popup of the Wizard window, and the previous recoding setup values are used as the recording setup values.
Video Quality
Adjust the recording quality.
1) Best quality.
the video will be recorded with the predefined best quality option.
2) User defined quality.
the video will be recorded with the user defined quality option.
If you want to change the user defined quality option, press the spanner-shaped button.
Change User Defined Quality
Click the spanner-shaped button.
1) Video resize rate.
Set the shrinking rate of the original capture resolution.
The smaller resolution produces the smaller size file.
2) Frame quality.
Set the quality of the video frame.
The lower quality produces the smaller size file.
3) Frames Per Second. (FPS)
Set how many times capture per second.
The higher FPS produces the smoother video, but the recorded file size is bigger. In addition, for a high FPS capture, the performance of the graphics card should be high as well.
Information About Recording Resolution
- If you upload a video recorded in 1920×1080 resolution to YouTube, viewers can choose its playback resolution among 1080 (1920×1080), 720 (1280×720), 480 (960×480), 360 (640×360) and 144 (256×144).
- Similarly, If you upload a video recorded in 1280×720 resolution, viewers can choose its playback resolution among 720 (1280×720), 480 (960×480), 360 (640×360) and 144 (256×144).
- If the small size text must be recorded to a video, do not resize the video resolution.
- If you capture a large area, FPS may be slow down. In this case, set the capture area smaller.
Cursor Capture
If you want to record the mouse cursor, select ‘Yes’. Otherwise, select ‘No’.
Sound Capture
If you want to record the sound, select ‘Yes’. Otherwise, select ‘No’.
