You can crop a specific region from the entire screen image by using the “Crop Area” capture function.
Crop Capture
You can do “Crop Area” capture by clicking the “Crop Area” button of the Dr.Capture window or pressing its hot key.
1) Capture by the “Crop Area” button of the Dr.Capture window.
- Select the “Image” tab of the Dr.Capture window.
- Click the “Crop Area” button, and the entire screen will become dark a little.
- Specify the area where you want to capture. (See below)
- If you capture by clicking the button, Dr.Capture window will be hidden in a while and restored after end of capture.
2) Capture by the hot key. (default hot key ‘Ctrl + Shift + 4’)
- Press the ”Crop Area” hot key and the entire screen will become dark a little.
- Specify the area where you want to capture. (See below)
- If you capture by pressing the hot key, Dr.Capture window will not be hidden.
How to Specify Capturing Area
1) Using the mouse left button.
- Place the mouse cursor to one of corner of the area where you want to capture.
- Click the mouse left button and drag the cursor until the diagonal corner of the area where you want to capture.
- Release the left mouse button, and the specified area is captured into an image.
2) Using the mouse right button.
- Place the mouse cursor to one of corner of the area where you want to capture.
- Click the mouse right button, and the context menu will be popped up.
- Select “Start Cropping” in the context menu or press ‘s’ key of the keyboard.
- Move the cursor until the diagonal corner of the area where you want to capture.
- Click the mouse right button again.
- Select “Stop Cropping” in the context menu or press ‘t’ key of the keyboard.
Captured File
The Captured file is created in the format of
“Image Save Folder \ Capture Date \ CropAreaSerialNumber.ImageFormat”.
Ex) C: \ Users \ SGKSoft \ Pictures \ DrCapture \ 2012-07-18 \ CropArea0001.png

Image Format
You can save the image in various formats. (PNG, BMP, JPG, GIF)
You can set the format on the setup window. See here for more details.
Action After Capture
You can select one of followings for an action which be executed automatically after capture.
1) Open the captured file with MS Paint.
2) Open the folder which contains the recorded file with Explorer.
3) No action.
