Game capture is a piece of cake to Dr.Capture users.
Dr.Capture can record a game implemented by DirectX graphics library running in full screen mode or windowed mode.
If you want to record a game implemented by OpenGL graphics library, you can record it with the “Window” or “Box Area” recording function after executing the game in windowed mode.
1. Methods for recording a game running in full screen mode.
- Press the “Desktop” recording hot key.
- Press the “Window” recording hot key.
2. Methods for recording a game running in windowed mode.
- Click the “Window” recording button of Dr.Capture window.
- Press the “Window” recording hot key.
- Click the “Box Area” recording button of Dr.Capture window.
- Press the “Box Area” recording hot key.

When gameplay is recorded by “Desktop” or “Window” recording function, FPS(Frames Per Second) is displayed on the left top corner of the game screen. FPS is red while recording and turns to green when recording is paused.
